We would like to kickstart the year off with something we have been dying to do for ages - our very own blog! This is a space where we will share real weddings, our inspiration and most importantly, to bring you the latest décor and wedding trends.
2017 started with a wedding that very different but oh-so-gorgeous! Chaise and Ceiridwen were married at Barker Manor Kloof on the Saturday 7 January. It was a very wet and grey day but this definitely did not dampen the mood. In fact, it added an extra special ambiance and romance to day.
Chaise and Ceiridwen’s décor ideas were unique and refreshing. Their wedding was anything but ordinary, using paper flowers instead of real foliage. Paper flowers are one of 2017’s hottest wedding trends and we just can’t get enough of them!
We filled the tables with as many candles as we could get our hands on. We added a touch of glam by combining our glass cylinder vases and tall glass candlesticks, which created an unforgettable glow throughout the venue. The simplicity of glass and it’s romantic reflections allowed the paper flowers to be the star of the show.
We love that Chaise and Ceiridwen (pictured below) decided to break the mould!
